By far the most active area of the North West part of Corfu Island is the resort of Sidari. The largest resort in
the north, Sidari has three beaches that are visited by thousands of tourists
every year. Sidari’s diverse entertainment caters to both those young at heart
and family holiday makers. Near Sidari is the resort Acharavi and Roda, which has much to offer in terms
of beach, and entertainment.
West of Sidari is the village of Peroulades, a traditional
village with a rich architectural inheritance dating from Venetian times. You
will see arches, doorways, old-fashioned grocers' stores, and the ruins of the
house where the poet Andreas Calvos lived. From this point a road leads to the
spectacular shoreline at Cape Drastis!
Don’t forget to visit in the same village the Logas, the sunset beach which is home to the world renowned, where you can spend time with that
special someone enjoying the island’s most famed and incredible sunset. For a
quieter and more relaxing resort, travellers often head to Agios Stefanos, (San Stefanos) or Arillas both places with a fantastic long sandy beach, featuring
calm and shallow water, perfect for families.
