The furthest municipality from centre of the Island, the Municipality of Lefkimeon is located on the southern most tip of Corfu, and completed surrounded by water. It’s also home to the second largest city in Corfu, Lefkimmi, with a population of over 10.000 inhabitants.

As it is surrounded by water, the municipality of Lefkimeon also boasts the biggest and busiest resort on the Island,  Kavos.  Fuelled with the energy of youth, and some shots of ouzo, the bars and clubs in Kavos are known to stay open until sun rise. Every year, thousand of tourists in their 20’s make their way to what is undeniably the craziest party in Greece!

Suffice it to say, for those travelling with family or looking for a quieter vacation, searching for a more serene part of the island may be more appropriate.
